Community Facility Planning
Our community facility planning experience is based on designing facilities that meet the community's needs. Capacity Consulting creates a blueprint for facilities by undertaking a strategic appraisal and engaging the community. We have a range of partners that assist in design community facilities including: Suters Architects, Tony Hobba Architects, Mexted Rimmer Landscape Architects, Dennis Hunt and Associates Engineers. We develop innovative designs that are user friendly and environmentally sustainable.
We use the principles of Healthy Places and Spaces in designing community spaces.
Nullawarre
Nirranda Multipurpose Community Facility
The Nullawarre Nirranda Multipurpose Community Facility is a
feasibility study for the development of a new community facility for the
district. Capacity Consulting has worked with the community to review the
existing community facilities in the district and the design a new multipurpose
facility.
A key aspect of the project is the feasibility and to design
a facility that meets the needs of a number of user groups.

Apollo Bay
Community Lifestyle Precinct Plan
The Apollo Bay Community Lifestyle Precinct Master Plan includes
a Library, Community House and converting an old Ambulance Station into a
community gym. The Master Plan includes designs to connect the Library and
Community House to provide increased library space including increased book
space and a reading area for children.
The former Ambulance Station has been redesigned to be a
community gym which will significantly enhance to health and wellbeing of the
community.
